East Lansing is a city located directly east of Lansing, the state capital of Michigan. Most of the city is situated in Ingham County, with portions of it in Clinton County. East Lansing has an estimated population of 48,579 and is most known as the home of Michigan State University. In its early history, East Lansing was an important junction of two major Native American groups: the Potawatomi and Fox.

East Lansing Art Festival – The East Lansing Art Festival serves to enhance the sense of community and appreciation of art, culture and creativity in the East Lansing and Greater Lansing region. In the 54 years since its inception, the festival has become a major community undertaking that presents hundreds of artists and craftspeople, attracting tens of thousands of visitors and requiring year-round efforts from hundreds of volunteers.

East Lansing Rotary Club – Sponsored by the Rotary Club of Lansing, East Lansing Rotary Club received its charter from Rotary International on September 28, 1961. Organized with 25 charter members, the East Lansing Rotary Club is involved in community service or fund-raising activities to benefit organizations locally and internationally.
