Lake James is a natural lake in the northeast corner of Indiana. Through much of the 1700s, the lake was part a swamp that acted as hunting grounds for the Potawatomi Native Americans. Today, it is Indiana’s fourth largest lake and is a destination for boating, fishing, and wildlife enthusiasts.
